For keen Trailer Yacht sailors, your options are numerous.

Ngaroto SC usually has a few TY regattas each year, including their amazing Sprint Series, which has 17 races over one day (two days if there's a lack of wind).

Waikato Yacht Squadron, based on the Hauraki Gulf, from Kawakawa Bay, have several passage races each summer, as well as hosting larger regattas.

Further afield, Bay of Plenty Trailer Yacht Squadron (BOPTYS) at Lake Rotoiti, near Rotorua, hold numerous regattas, plus have midweek and weekend sailing.

Heading North, Manukau Yacht and Motorboat Club (MYMBC) is the home of the Hartley TS16, and also the Auckland based for Noelex 22 yachts.

Raglan Yacht Squadron also have sailing events through the summer, but at time of writing I have been unable to make decent contact with them..
